ChallengeTo balance contemporary hospitality branding with a rich historical narrative, drawing inspiration from the region’s Byzantine heritage without becoming pastiche or overly ornamental. The identity needed to feel timeless rather than thematic—subtle in its references, yet unmistakably connected to its context.

Creative DirectionThe approach centred on distilling key visual cues from Byzantine art and architecture—geometry, symmetry, iconography, and materiality—into a refined, modern system. Rather than direct replication, these influences were abstracted into a minimal, elegant identity framework.

OutcomeA cohesive identity that bridges past and present—grounded in Thessaloniki’s Byzantine legacy, yet designed for a contemporary, global audience. Project Nena 2026_character_design+digital+AI

Originally developed over two decades ago, Sistastyle was built around a teenage girl’s world—music, fashion, attitude—expressed through a distinctive graffiti-led visual identity by ETCH.

Revisiting the project now, the aim is not to recreate what was, but to evolve it.

Through the use of AI tools like Runway, I’m exploring how that original visual energy can be translated into a modern context—introducing motion, depth, and new layers of expression while staying true to its roots.

It’s a collision of past and present: analogue beginnings, digital evolution.

understanding the creative power of AI through highly descriptive prompt creation and image referencing

It’s been 10 years since I designed this exhibition catalogue.

I came across it while digging through old folders on iCloud and it made me smile. It was one of those rare projects where the brief allowed complete freedom — a chance to explore layout, typography and pacing without the usual constraints of brand guidelines or commercial expectations.

The catalogue accompanied a small gallery exhibition I attended the private view for. I worked closely with Mark Daniels, son of Barry Daniels, one of the founders of the Danad collective, and with the brilliant writer Kevin Saunders, who authored the text.

Looking back, it represents a moment just before my work shifted fully into the digital space—a piece rooted in print, in craft, and in a slower, more considered way of making.

rowleys:london brand identity + motion + digital

An evolution of the original Rowleys mark, first created by Michael C Place.

The update builds on its inherent circular logic—using intersecting radial guides to refine form, balance and flow.

A subtle reworking that brings clarity, precision and a renewed sense of energy to the identity.

I’ve increasingly leaned into the power of Cinema 4D as a tool for exploration—using it to build, test and visualise ideas in a more spatial, dynamic way.

VS is a streetwear concept built around simple, stencilled illustrations of animals behaving just a little too human.

The idea is rooted in contrast—instinct versus imagination, nature versus the everyday. Each piece captures a moment that feels familiar but slightly off: a visual clash designed to provoke a second look.

Stripped back in execution but loaded with attitude, the identity leans into bold form, minimal colour, and a strong graphic presence—allowing the concept to carry the weight.

VS is an exploration of tension, humour, and the unexpected—expressed through clothing.

Digital Merchandising sky.com

Client: Sky Creative

VS is a streetwear concept built around simple, stencilled illustrations of animals behaving just a little too human.

The idea is rooted in contrast—instinct versus imagination, nature versus the everyday. Each piece captures a moment that feels familiar but slightly off: a visual clash designed to provoke a second look.

Stripped back in execution but loaded with attitude, the identity leans into bold form, minimal colour, and a strong graphic presence—allowing the concept to carry the weight.

VS is an exploration of tension, humour, and the unexpected—expressed through clothing.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked with an amazing team of people shaping the sky.com digital merchandising design landscape.

Leading creative output across campaigns, BAU, and rebrands for Sky Sports, TV & Cinema, Mobile, and Broadband (UK & ROI).

Hers’s a snapshot of some of the work including...

- Major partner moments

- Big Sport takeovers- Entertainment launches- Blockbuster movie releases- Sky Mobile launches- Sky Broadband campaigns

- Prospect & Customer deals

Different verticals. Different objectives. One website.
